Craniosacral Therapy For
Children And Infants
The craniosacral, dental, and fascial aspects are in
reality one powerful system.
According to Dr. Gillespie, "Healthy brain and spinal
cord motion is a must for well-being, and craniosacral therapy for babies
and children assists in facilitating their bodies to heal."
A Grandmother's Story Of Healing:
Craniosacral Therapy For Infants And Children
I was introduced to Dr. Gillespie and craniosacral therapy in my forties,
and it made a difference in my life right away. My husband and I saw
that our children, then in their teens, also had craniosacral treatment.
Now it's our grandchildren's turn.
Three grandchildren experienced difficult births that restricted their
craniosacral systems causing problems such as excessive crying, strabismus
(wandering eye), and brochiolitis. Craniosacral therapy when they were
infants corrected these problems.
Now at ages 3, 4, and 6 no physical problems hold them back from following
wherever their potential leads (two are sports nuts and one is a joyful
musician).
Even though they have the usual bumps and childhood accidents,
their craniosacral therapy starting as babies keeps them healthy and
resilient.
Last week two grandsons saw Dr. Gillespie for a 2-year checkup, and
their brain motion showed an outstanding 60-second cycle (no surprise
to their grandmom!).
The third child lives in the Boston area, and he received craniosacral
therapy as an infant from a therapist there trained by Dr. Gillespie
through his Brain Therapy Workshops.
Especially, I appreciate that my grandchildren received craniosacral
therapy as babies and also as young children so that they could
see healthy childhoods without going through the illnesses and limited
life I experienced.
A Therapist's Story Of Healing:
Craniosacral Therapy For Babies And Children
Christine M. Holefelder, BS, CMT, received training in craniosacral
therapy and the other modalities in Dr. Gillespie's Brain Therapy
workshop. Now she practices directly under a pediatrician,
working with infants and children.
"Working with children," she said, "is
the most gratifying work I have ever done and is the main focus
of my business - Kinderssage (tm). All of the therapists that work
with me are, and will continue to be, graduates of Brain Therapy."
Dr. Gillespie treats infants and children in his own practice.Through
his Brain Therapy workshops he has trained therapists who practice
craniosacral therapy and the associated therapies in areas across
the country.
